As far back as I can remember, I have always loved makeup. One of my favorite childhood makeup stories is about how, when I was in second grade, I got sent home from school for wearing bright red lipstick and bright blue eyeshadow. I had even penciled in a fake “Cindy Crawford” mole with black eyeliner, right above my mouth. To top it all off, I am pretty sure I was wearing a leopard-print dress.<\/p>\n

Although I’m not a makeup artist, and have never had any professional beauty training, I have lots of experience practicing on myself my whole life. I have an education background in fine arts and love to experiment with various styles and looks. Keeping up with the trends is fun, but I also value individual aesthetics and unique artistic expression. I’m forever experimenting with all kinds of beauty products, and love the feeling I get from finally discovering quality formulas that really make a difference in the way I look and feel.<\/p>\n

I collect lipstick, kind of like some women collect shoes. I am sure I have much more lipstick than I need. But it’s a fun hobby, and I get to share my experience with viewers to this site. Besides, it’s not too awful having the perfect shade of lipstick to go with any day, any event, or any outfit.<\/p>\n

I hope that visitors to this site find the reviews here helpful in some way, and that I can turn you on to some life-changing new beauty products.<\/p>\n
